New Zealand’s tertiary-focused fraternal support network, for men.
Welcome to University Men’s Network (UniMen) a NZ-based fraternal organisation that provides opportunities, mentoring, support and resources for men. UniMen was set up to support men in their academic and career pursuits beyond secondary school, and is open to men aged 16 and over.
Why join UniMen?
Whether you’re considering going to University, Polytechnic, or close to graduating at either secondary or tertiary level, it’s important to have a mentoring and support network to make your transition towards the next phase of your life. Joining is entirely free, without any commitments or obligations, and you do not need to currently or previously attended tertiary study.
So long as you’re a male that is aged 16 years or older, you can apply to join. Once you have joined, you’ll be added to a network and provided a member ID which provides access to UniMen services. These include, being able to request support for: university and hall of resident applications, scholarship applications, general mentoring, job applications, career and course selection advice, postgraduate support and support for social/club life.
You will also be able to volunteer to give back, and provide mentorship and support for other men. Those who end up as leaders through volunteer work are also provided with exclusive benefits.
The other reason you should join UniMen, is because there are very few support networks that focus exclusively on men and men’s needs, we aim to change that. If this sounds good to you, then follow this link to JOIN NOW.
Alternatively, if you have further questions about UniMen, don’t hesitate to contact us through our contact page, or directly emailing us at hello@unimen.net.
